OUTSIDEDIARY
After the Game
What comes after a good game: sweat, laughter, water, and the feeling of being alive among friends.
A game never ends with the last ball. It carries on in the conversation on the way out, the damp shoes, the shared water, and the kind of laughter that appears when no one is trying to seem interesting.
Tennis, futsal, basketball, swimming: each practice makes a small community. There is competition, of course, but also the ritual of arriving, learning, missing, making plans again, and belonging.
A body in motion is one way back into the world. Not to produce a better version of yourself, but to find people and remember that presence can be fun.
